New Forms Package Offers Affordable Option for Independent Owners:
• TAA’s new small owner forms package is designed for independent owner members who own or manage less than 25 units.
• This package will only be available as an online (web-based) product, and will become available after January 1, 2006.
• Current users of the small property software package have an opportunity to convert to the small owner software package at no charge at the time of the next license renewal.
• The small owner package can only be purchased online via credit card through the Blue Moon website. Blue Moon will verify membership through the local association before approving an order.
• The license will not have an expiration date, and users will not have to pay an annual site license fee. However, the program will include a prompt that requires you, after the earlier of one year or renewal of your membership at the local level, to verify that you are still a member in good standing in order to continue to use the software. The verification would go through Blue Moon to the local association.
• The small owner package is cost-effective for independent owners who use less that 500 clicks per year, or approximately up to 20-to-25 lease packages a year.
• TAA will maintain the requirement for a standalone apartment community software package license for any property with more than 50 units.
